Neurofeedback Clinic Project

Learning that trauma changes the brain is vital for Indigenous peoples, given the history of oppression, injustices, and atrocities. There are many possibilities with neurofeedback but this five month project focuses on training the brain to relax. Alpha-Down (Alpha down-regulation) trains the brain to a relaxed state. When we’re relaxed we have improved sleep, clarity of thought, less reactivity and an increased ability to see possibilities rather than be limited by involuntary threat responses in daily interactions.
